My site from my computer!

hello guys

I was wondering If I can run my web site from my computer for testing and etc.. mean make my computer like the domain and use the site as it will look in the real domain... like make FTP file on my harddisk or some thing! I don't know

is that impossible ?

xampp is pretty useful for easily seting up apache/php/myself etc.
I wouldn't use it to host a site though, for seriously running a site I'd get myself some hosting.

 

I will try xampp now to run the html files and SQL and see if the site is ok. then I will host it on my main site that will be here in 1 or 2 days
