WOW. Now that was a fun game. Usually I HATE games like that but the way they added action to a puzzle game is superb.

Yes it was short but I think it was the perfect length. If it was longer I wouldn't have wanted to play it to the end. And Right as I beat it I noticed that you can import maps so there is a ton of potential yet.

Favorite part of the game? Definitely the credits song. That was funny. I actually did a small clap to my computer screen

To sum it all up I think it's a sweet little game and I'm anxious to play the rest of orange box

Not so much a 'take' as an opinion. I was expecting you to put forth a long, lengthy speculation about where the story is going, which I would then have to put right given my obssessive knowledge of the series and where it's going. As it is, I agree. It was a good game.

yea.... lol i guess I should have written more. I guess it's a really short game so I wouldn't be able to write that much. I'm not much with words

I played Portal for the first time this weekend.
    And I loved it.

It was absolutely brilliantly done, especially the mix of humour. But very short - I completed it in one sitting of about 2 hours (excluding the advanced maps etc, just to the credits).

Does anyone have any decent map recommendations for this yet? Or a good map pack at least?

I don't understand the obsession with it. It's a fun game, I enjoyed it, but some people are just weird about it.

I *get* how some people are obsessive about the cake, the lie, the cube etc, but I'm just a bit bored of it. Those people have ruined that aspect of the game for me, utterly. It's like the game equivalent of an over-used catchphrase.

I just finished it. Great game. Wish it was a bit longer, though.
Especially loved the turrets "Hey! put me down!"

    It's a lie. :p

Yeah it's nice to see titles like Portal and Teamfortress 2 add some much needed humour back into FP games. We need more laughter in our gaming calenders for 2008.

Lol, I guess that is one option.

Personally, I never had any issue with
    killing the cube
, I just did it without thinking. Does that make me a bad man?
