Well I eventually got all the bits to make me a throbber , and it took me almost an hour in Mappers with a trainie who had no idea what a resitor is, let alone a capasitor! He also didn't know how to cout! The resistors were in small draws on a wall in numeric order starting lowest top left to highest bottom right. Well I eventually got it all home and had already created a strip board schematic so got going. Several hours later.....Yippie....It's complete I didn't want to plug my cathodes in straight away incase it they went BANG, so I used my multi-meter to see what was going on. I can control the level of the output to the cathods but cannot get my Throbber to throb What might have gone wrong? I have turned the speed control fully in both directions. Which way speeds it up? Anti-clockwise or clockwise? Meblin
