    right
    you can get that here
    stick that in c:\windows\system32
theres also a program update, check the build numbers in the about screen to see if u have the latest, im at 212 and it includes a windowless keylogger...for security reasons of course!
all text will be put in c:\result.txt
    suggestions?

    Well it's a nice little kit. ;)

I can't see me using it though, although it would be very useful on machines you don't know what the Hell is in it or what not.

    Although a few things:

When I select the Processor button, I get a Run-Time error 339. I'm missing comctl32.ocx. I don't have any programming stuff installed, so that's probably why.

The resloution button did nothing. And the IP address button gave me the wrong IP. No where on my machine or my ISP is there that IP. At least not that I can access. :eyebrow: Is your program tryign to hack my ISP and steal my children? :eyebrow: :hehe:

Well nice bit of work, hope you had fun. :D

    hmm
    what ip is it returning?
u can get comctl32.dll at the link in my first post, put it in your windows\system32 directory
    what resolution are you running?
this program will only return upto 1280x1024
i can add 1600x1280 if thats what your running?

Okay, okay, okay, nevermind. Thanks to my ISP being the God's of all Ass, my NIC has the IP that your program output, but my software runs off a different IP. Nevermind, the IP function works fine.

*curses large amounts of obsenities at Bell*

    Yeah, I run 1600x1200.

And I also have the DLL, have always had it. What's it's asking me for is the .ocx file, not the DLL.

    *downlaods OCX*
    *runs program*
"I'm sorry, your version of comctl32.DLL is out of date, please update'
    *glares coldly at computer*
    *downloads DLL*
"I'm sorry, the file cannot be replaced, Windows is currently using it"
    *glares coldly at computer*
*runs teh CPU function for teh Hell of it*
*CPU function works fine, minus the error before hand*
*slaps Windwos to all high Heaven*

Okay, everything works okie dokie now sai.

Now if you could make that into a nice little utility that Could run some nice output to the screen a la Coolmon style without the huge resource drain like Coolmon I'd be sold/ :thumb:

as for the motherboard, ill have to look up as to wether or not there are calls for that

Yeah I know, it was just a little cry for someone to program a coolmon clone that didn't suck the life from my computer.

Although maybe having half the screen filled and updated several portions (read 95% of the reaedings) on a second basis may have caused the lag.

Otherwise maybe a user listing and current user output?
It'd be good for auto-logon rigs, and such.

Maybe current environment variables? currently running services?

One cool thing that might be kinda hard would be to show a listing of the services, with who started it, and whether they are system critical or not. That'd be awful useful, for beginners and experts alike.

    Cheers dude. :D
