Your post took a whole 418bytes. I doubt thats even registering on anyone's bandwidth meters Anywho...Very nice bus. Only thing I would have done slightly different is made the knobs wider and flatter. but thats just my preference and makes no difference to the functionality of the unit. Great work
Well it looks awesome and that's what counts. Look at the Hardcano 12.. that's excessively expensive but people still use them. And this is actually original! as for cost effectiveness... modders won't care if they want one and companies like sunbeam, okgear and all the others can use an amazing thing called bulk rate. They would be making them for all of five bucks (which won't be reflected in the selling price). Like most motherboards couldn't cost more than $20 or so to make... even the crazy server ones. You're paying for their costs for parts, labor, design (more labor), and whatnot. Not to mention a load of profit. And you suffer from double markup as the manufacturer makes a profit as does the reseller. Point being that if someone wanted to make a lot, they could do it cheap. You reallllly need to tell us a schmatic or at least a parts list... it sure seems like I'm not the only one that wouldn't mind wasting some cash and time to make one. I mean, who doesn't love soldering?
Well I never minded it before but..... Just so you get some idea.... here is the pinout for one channel of displays... thats 4 7 segment displays. And this is in the area of about the width of two fingers. Woodshop: Are you saying my pics are blurry? hehe
No i'm saying i want about 30 more with it in various stager of compleation and covering every square inch of the device. The blur thing was to close that potentual loop hole. Or you coulg just host the eagle bluepring for the thing.
