many of you probably remember my old Lian Li PC6070.
well, the liquid cooling system from that was aboiut 5 years old, plus it was louder than a jet engine.
so i decided to buy this shuttle and watercool it instead.
    here are some pics XD

let me know what you think.

as a cold cathode consumes more power, and is either 4 or 12" long, i decided to buy a meteor light and mod it to use to light up the side. it consumes less than 1/10th the power of a cold cathode, and produces less than 1/2 the heat. while producing a more directed/brighter lighting effect.

    now on with the watercooling:

here you can see how i mounted the pump/res, in the hdd/floppy bay, which fit perfectly by the way, as well as the entrance for the radiator

here you can see how i zap strapped the hard drive underneath the contraption, as well as the less-than 1mm clearance between the drive and the memory XD

and heres where the radiator enters the case from the back. a bit messy, but i plan on shoving some rubber grommets in there next week to fill the gap and hide the uncleasiness of the cut.

here is the clearance from the radiator against the plugs...its still difficult to take out the ethernet cable, as i have to reach under and up with a small object to depress the plastic switch thing. but that is the only connection.

here is how it looks installed and set up.

this is the view of the hose routing, and the waterblock installed.

Nice job on the cooling setup, what sort of performance are you getting out of it?

paint on a copper rad will kill the heat effectiveness. Good to see my old aquarius at work :D

Haddy, how can your DSL modem be on fire for 400kb pics?
Do you guys have like 0,2mbit over there or what?
I have only 4mbit DSL, and i have to wait 3 months to get 8mbit :wallbash:
But the pics loads just fine, just have to see what on them piccies, I'd rather see some 1600x1200 pics.
    [/OT]

Very nice job on that shuttle, I've seen a couple of shuttles with external watercooling, but that spoils the whole idea with having a shuttle :D
Put some watercooling on that videocard to

A beautifully compact solution... as mentioned if you could sort out a connection to the graphics it would be perfect. I've seen other watercooled shuttles but they tend to adversly affect the units portability.

Whats the performance and sound like?

It cost him an Audigy 2 and $25, the pump is in the HDD bays, and it's a TT aquarius 2.
