    Ok

My wifes Sony VGN-FS215E laptop has just died. She was watching youtube videos when the screen went off. However the laptop was still running as sound was coming out. So she switched it off and now it wont switch on. IT doesnt sound like the hard drive spins up, the CD drive wont eject and nothing on screen.

The power LED glows red and when plugged intot the mains, the battery light flashes orange.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this? Because we cant aford to buy a new one. Or has it just given up life after 3 years of light use from her uni work.
