I'll put the pics first, cuz I know thats what yall want. I've had this computer done now for a month or so. I just havent had a decent cam to take pics with. Its sitting on the floor infront of my pooey comp cuz my dad is too lazy to run cat5 into my room and will kill me if i try it myself. The inovatek res/airtrap glows blue from some LEDs I put in the black mounts for it. There is one blue ccfl in there and two black lights will go in once I get some work done ofne them. I would also like to add an led fan to the bottom of the cooling/drive side to improve airflow on that side for the rad, and to give it a cool glow underneath it. Over the summer I am going to replace the door on the front of the case with black plexi and mount 3 noritake 800 graphic VFDs beind it for a sweet futuristic GUI type display. I took a lot of metal out of this case just last week. I removed the extra HDD racks on the 90mm fan and where the rad goes. I also cut part of the wall dividing the two parts for easier routing of the tubes and airflow from the front intake to the rad in the back. the 90mm fan is also an intake. The fans are all pretty quiet and can only really be heard when your up close and personal with the case. I still have a few more cables to sleeve and spiral wrap to tidy the insides up a bit.
Very, very nice m8. Wanted a Y-Y cube for ages but never been able to bring myself to spend the dosh on it never mind go near one with my crap dremel skills Are you going to put uv dye in the water or light the pipes up somehow?
I have some dye in the system right now, but its crap quality and doesnt lightup very much at all. this case had a dent in it, thankfully it was where my window is now. So I got the sucker for half price. Oh yeah, the side with the drives and cooling completely covered in that paxmate stuff. Works great, you can barely hear the fans. Only noisy fan is my PSU, thats just cuz of the turbulence the internal bits must cause I bet.
Nice setup! Can i ask u some q's bout the cube though?? Does it come with 120mm in the front or have u modded the 92-120mm? is it 80mms at the back or 92 as standard? The harddisk mounts uve taken out the back - they any good? quality wise is it good n airy case? Bet its a heavy bugger now!
yep, 120mm front be default. the fans in the back are 92mm normally, but you can squeeze 120's in there. the HDD mounts I pulled out are jsut screwed in, theyre just like the 3.5 inch bays in any other case _______________ The inovatek res normall come with some kinda compression fitting that wouldnt allow me to use my 1/2" tubing, soooo I swapped out the fittings for some 3/8" barbs and then I have short lengths of 3/8" tubing meeting the 1/2" with some reducers.
you cant take good pictures if you're all lit up ...oh nevermind love the cube morph, always wanted one too
funny you should mention that, my parents are out in vegas dude, i jsut noticed that my av makes my eyebrows look triangular. Or maybe thats how they are. psh, oh well
where did u get your cube from as mine came with a 92mm in front and 2 80s in the back (its a 120 in front and 2 92s in the back and a 92 in the side and 2 120s in the top NOW mind you, but that took aaages to do)
Very nice been thinking about getting one of these for a while..... I just wish I could find a half price dented one .... I take it you'd recommend it! BTW - what pump are you running in there?
Great job Morph Couple of questions: 1. What pump is that, where did you get it from? 2. What size clamps on your hoses, where did you get them and any codes would be good. I hope there 1/2"
