Networks Myspace.com - live webcam

Just like u can add a music video and other interactive content on a myspace profile, has anyone tried and successfully got live streaming webcam video on it?

What programs did they use to enable the feature? Sorry i should know better but unfortunately i dont and taking the shortcut route to getting an answer

I did this a while ago.

Download and run Webcam2000, set it up to use a none-standard port, make sure this port is forwarded though your router to the machine with Webcam2000 running.

On your profile, put in <img src="http://<your.ip.adddress.here>ort>, viola.

At least, Thats what I think I did.

You do realize flash is absolutly appauling on a mac, it just screams unoptimized code.

 

yes flash for v.1 of the mac broadcaster, and yes we 110% agree ... it's all just a temp solution untill the Coca version's done
