    Hi,

Please excuse the noobness, but I would like to make sure before I blow something up :hehe:

I am busy installing a switch in my q-tech PSU, this would be the second one that I am doing, the first worked ok as I had a switch almost identical to Macroman's guide here on bit-tech. Only now I have a slightly different switch, here is a quick paint diagram :

As you can see it has 4 connectors on it.
When I got this switch (found it in my box of misc. parts ;)) it had brown wires on connector numbers 2A & 1A and blue wires on connector numbers 2 & 1

I have connected the brown wires as per diagram but it's not working. I am pretty sure that I need to move the brown wire from connector 1A to connector 2. Is that correct? Also, should I bother connecting the blue wires or is it ok to just use the live wire even though the switch has 4 connectors?

    Thanks.

I think the contact pairs are actually 1/1A and 2/2A. Try that.

It's an extra safety precaution in case the blue wire (instead of the brown) is connected to mains live at the plug by mistake, so won't hurt and might help. :thumb:
