No, but I'm guessing it's some sort of wierd triangular or hex type. Your local radio shack or equivalent would probably have the type of bit you need.
There the most anoying things ever, I got a bit off ebay to fit in a changeable driver, Its easy enough That or radioshack/hardware store should keep them Proph.
Its probably a Torx wrench, same thing they use on Compaqs, nothing you cant buy for a few bucks at your local hardware store.
it is a torx.. but if you cant find the right torx bit.. then just get a biro, take out the middle, heat up the tip until its nice and soft, then just push it into the hole, then take it out before it dries, let it dry,, and you have a good bit
From time to time the mods may see fit to bestow an avatar upon a new user, this is referred to as being "kna'd"./ So I think you have been kna'd
The bit is called Gamebit. They come in 3.8mm and 4.5mm. I think the 4.5 is on newer systems and the 3.8 would be another before Gamecube. You can get it from Lik Sang Or is it a Tri-Wing bit?
It's really a Security Bit, they have them all over, here's a site i reccommend http://electricquarter.com/parts.htm
Security bit is any unusual screw set to deter tampering. Torx is a security bit. The difference is in saying you drive a car or you drive a Ford Taurus.
i got a set of some "security bits" once.. it had tri ving bits, some wiers pozdrive bit with the wings pushed to the side a bit... (never seen those before) and umbraco, torx and flathead bits with that "knob" in the middle... (a hole in the bit) i can't remember where i got it though..
I just went to the local radio ham show and picked up a set of 32 "security" bits for my normal electric screwdriver and a full set for mobile phones for £20 goes all the way down to T4 torx. and the same guy did me a full set of Nokia unlocking leads for £13. Security - what security.
The real bitch is this one that is slightly off-round. It looks like a rivet of some kind, but it is slightly off round that a special tool unscrews. The tool is 75 dollars. And it wears out or sometimes fails to grip and you really need to put some elbow grease into it. Or the guys that put a screw .0007 microns long in a hole three meters deep. Thanks! Then there are the bits with just one hole that you stick a bit with one post in. And they are nice enough to JB Weld the screw in, so you need a hydraulic press just to loosen the damn thing and then the one post on the screwdriver breaks so you are now stuck with a round bit that you can't grip. Because of screws like that, I picked up a Dewalt Master Key
