Whoo an update! Here's an candyshot I toke earlier today.

I'm gonna mask and paint "NAAC" under that acryl sheet so It'll show as darker when lights on.

If someone didn't guess it allready, that's white acryl with green cold cathode.

    Here's another pic:

Here you can see glow under the case. /me likes it

(And ofcourse I'll mount it straight, these are just quickly token pics...)

Why does none seem to care at all :( However I've been painting foots, they'll be green as so many other things in this case too. I allso jiqsaw'd few tiny bits away so the wires can be pulled nicely :)

Today it's raining so I can't continue painting.

I like it, and I'm reading, I'm just too lazy to post unless I've got something to say or a question to ask...
ok, question, is that white acrylic at the bottom on an angle? To my eye it looks kinda odd, but I'll wait till it's a bit more finished...

thank you both. I didn't understood 100% what frodo said, but that acryl will be fixed, not just laying. And if you ment it's there just for test, then you're wrong, it'll be there for good. err. this is to hard to explain once again :D

I jigsaw'd hole for colacooler, now I'll have to somehow mount a fan to cool it down.

Tiny update once again. I modified second PSU. It had no AC-connector or fan, so I added them. Nothing special here, it was allready sanded and polished..

And I used my somehow broken jigsaw and made holes for colacooler. Lower one is for coolingair.

Everything turned out nicely without any problems, so I'm quite pleased.

Tomorrow I'll hopefully do some shopping. I should find clear acryl and piece of aluminum and maybe some fur :naughty: Stay tuned!

    I bought this:

45x60cm sheet of acryl. 3mm:s thick, but hopefully it won't snap. This is only acryl I've actually paid for, so even it costed 10€ it isn't that much..

I allso prepared amplifier for pc-use. Soldered molex-connector for power, next step is 3,5mm jack for input and two RCA:s for output.

This is maybe bizarrest thing I'm about to install to case :D I'm not sure yet, but I maybe will mount that motor on top of case, so I could spin my webcam 360degrees. I'd get nice panoramic view from lan-party :)

Ummm... I'm sure you were talking with an aircooling mindset when you said this. But you can cool something down below ambient by blowing ambient air on it.
    Evaporative Cooling.
You blow air on a volatile liquid and because there are molecules in that liquid with varying levels of energy (temperature measures average kinetic energy) the warmer molecules tend to evaporate more easily than the colder ones (the fan just helps in increasing overall evaporation rate). The overall result is that you have a liquid that is cooler than its ambient surroundings.

Same thing happens when you get out of a pool or shower... you feel cold.

hey mate, you cant cool radiators below ambient with ambient air

evaporative cooling and phase change are totally different

I very much like the size of that computer case!

Big Coaster wheels (wheels that can turn) are best for square objects. Not for slim and really tall objects like a PC cabinet.
Maybe they should be mounted under the plastic wings that original were on the computer.

I like the wheel idea, but even non-turning and straight wheels will allow for easier pulling the case in and out of place, like under the desk.

Just gotta love that Cola Cooler setup. :thumb: Peltiers are such an interresting toy.

Looking forward to seeing what you have come up with about that fur idea. :hip:

If you ment radiator can be cooled under roomtemps by spraying water on them, I don't count that as "cooling radiator below room temperature by air"

Now please stop abusing my thread :'(

I'll try to get webcam mounted today, I allready painted that plate green :) It'll cover ugly(?) screws and somehow it just looks nicer with it.

And oh, painjob isn't all flat since the plate had hammerlack(?). I sanded it a bit and it isn't that bad nomore. After all feet aren't flat neither, so it fits the theme.

I just installed the webcam and here's how it turned out.

First drill few holes and mount motor, here you go.

Then add green plate to make it look nicer.

And as final touches add some details... Like chromepipe around axel and sanded bolts! (need to sand them a bit more..)

Next job I'm gonna paint tiny section of webcam in green. Actually right this:

And because everyone loves opened hardware, here's my webcam :dremel:

And offtopic I allready have 150MB of fotos from this project  So all pics are in 2592x1944-resolution 2,6MB version too.
