After lots of image searching on google weve come to the conclusion its a VooDoo 2 but where can you get Windows ME drivers for it ?

    voodoofiles.com?

yea it is a voodoo 2 cause the voodoo1 had 8 chips of 512kb each. They are elite 83mhz jobbies arent they? Looks like a 12meg card that one assuming the chips are 1meg there not 512kb

I'm thinkin older than a V2 myself, as the V2 actually had a heatsink and just a single processing unit on the card, where as that thing appears to have 3 + the memory chips. I have a Guillemot Voodoo 2 Banshee (once THE card to have :D) right here atm and its not one of those either, and its deffo earlier than the Voodoo 2..........it does look very primitive tbh.

Do a search on google using the FCC ID on the cards label, that should bring something up.

    :)

It looks like my old Voodoo 2 graphics accelerator. Its not a stand alone card is it? It looks like it has a passthru - you hook your gfx card to the Voodoo, then the Voodoo to the monitor. (or the other way round) If it is the same as my old one it means it has 12mb of memory onboard. (added to the 4mb on the gfx card gave you a whopping 16MB! :dude: ) You could try the driver at: http://www.cyber4all.com/3dfx/voodoo2.asp that might work.

This is indeed a Voodoo 2.

It can easily be differentiated from a voodoo 1 by the larger size of the card, three processors (rather than 2), and the SLI connector on the top front edge.

Voodoo2s didn't tend to have heatsinks either (a few shipped with them, but they didn't need them, unless heavily overclocked).

Yeah that thing is deffo a V2, its got the 3 GPUs on it that work together. Also its got the SLI right at the top. I had an 8meg version and it rocked. I remember I had to strap an 80mil evercool to it so I could run Midtown Madness lol :) Used to overclock like hell, and SLI'ing was the dogs a couple of years ago. Two V2 12megs in SLI were the ultimate.

    TRy this

have you tried putting it into your computer?
Just stick it in, plug your monitor into it, and turn on your pc.

When the bions of it comes up, 3DFX cards tell you the make and model of it (well, my v3000 and v3500 do) then theres your problem solved.

If that doesnt work, link it to an older card, because thats an addon board. Basicly what it does is add more power to your existing card so you dont have to buy a whole new card etc...

Get back to us an tell us if it helped!

    Thanks
