Hi guys, Im doing this for the main reason, i'd like a different online game to play... This is my top 5, in no perticular order, Unreal Tournament (Original) Quake Live (simple, free, fun, and i can play it at work..) Counter-Strike: Source Team Fortress Classic (fun times) Left 4 Dead 2
Not in any particular order COD:UO - Still THE best multiplayer CoD by a mile. CoD2 - Wasn't too bad either CoD4 - Brought something new, (see a pattern forming?) Enemy Territory - I really enjoyed the game mode, the missions were lotsa fun Action Quake 2 - So quick phased it's crazy. Also throwing knives ++ GOTCHA! No way in hell will the MW2 make it to my list.
Team Fortress 2 Half Life 2: Deathmatch ... Yeah, I've not been playing PC games for that long so that's the only really great online FPS that I've played, and I don't count L4D as being good enough to put on this list for me.
CSS MW (PS3) UT99 Soldier of Fortune (back in the day, doesn't work on XP ) Soon to be Battlefield 2, Crysis Wars, UT2K4, Frontlines, L4D, few others lol
1: CS:S 2: UT 3: L4D 4: CoD4:MW 5: Op Flashpoint Not necessarily ones I play anymore, but they're the ones which I've had the biggest/longest love for.
battlefield 2 - still the best online shooter imo and still got a good community battlefield heroes (still free to play at the moment i think so give it a whirl!) left for dead 1 (2 when i buy it....)
For me it has to be Day of Defeat v2.0 - 2.2 (back when machine guns scared the crap out of people and grenades were like nukes) Half-Life MP/Counter Strike beta 1.6 (best version there was) Battlefield 2 Modern Warfare 2 (This kind of encompasses MW1 for me) Project Reality (Have had some immense games on this). There are a few others spotted about, but those listed were the ones I have enjoyed the most online. I loved the original UT, but never played it online.
