    doesn't have to rhyme (thank god)

    My first try at haiku ill do one within the spirit of the thread when can think of one.

    Close, but no cigar... a Haiku is composed of three lines: the first line is exactly five syllables; the second exactly seven, the third exactly five again.

    as oddball says:
    (corrected for grammar and syllable count)

    So your haiku would be:

    I explore new thrills
    The master baits his pupil:
    now I call the shots.
