It sounds rather crude
but any hole is a goal
when you're desperate

I am a poet
and yet I did not know it
such wit, or not. Meh.

Of course we could always take a digress
And offer to our minds otherwise stress
For when it comes to writing poetry
Iambic pentameter is best, see?
Five iams per line the method is clear
Though these forumites wont get it, I fear.
Alas, my prose is to high-brow for they
And from this thread I do not doubt they stay
Lest I should show them up in written word
And witty rhyme (linguistically absurd).
No matter, Nexxo can form a reply
Or will some other individual try
To match my skill, which all can clearly see.
Perhaps next time I'll try solioquy...?

 

Haikus suck because
I can never think of how
to write a good one

 

Don't Haiku orange,
Silver or purple because
One cannot rhyme them

 

but why should we care
since a haiku does not have
to rhyme anyway?

Absolutely love it! I can't do haiku's. Songwriting, poetry, anything else, fine. But haiku's - 'fraid not.
