From the Hacks over at the Inquirer:

OUR FRIENDS at Hexus.net may not be too popular with Nvidia having matched up a Radeon 9600XT with a real FX 5700.

We tried to phone David Ross who is the chief editor of site but he was not available at press time, since he is obviously terrified that Nvidia might a fire mobile guided missile in his direction if he answers back.

He says on the site, however, "I can't talk much more about the NVIDIA solution or I may find a horse's head in my bed or something."

Full story here, and here's the offending Hexus article

    Makes interesting reading! ;)

Hexus posted benchmarks of the NV36 (5700U) in the article about the 9600XT. The NV36 is still under NDA until they release it. I dont know what they are worrying about though, the NV36 looks faster

I believe they're going on about an NDA with nVidia over the NV36 reference board they use in the head to head with the XT.

They refer to it as either the NV36, or the 'The mid-range card that doesn't exist yet'.

They'll be a full review of it no doubt, once the NDA has lapsed.
