Hey First of all, thanks to those who have helped me so far. I had decided on getting a MSI Twin Frozr 570GTX 1.3GB but having read around some forums, particularly: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=1212019&mpage=1 I have kinda convinced myself that 1.3gb will not be enough in the long run. I really like the Twin Frozr iii however and the only thing available that fits the criteria I'm looking at is the MSI 6970 Lightning. I really don't have any preference between the green and the red teams. I'm not likely to use eyefinity ever and I've never had physx so won't even notice not having it. So the point is I'm really torn between these 3 (pros and cons listed): MSI Twin Frozr iii GTX570 1.3GB (Cheaper, less RAM, Physx, has cooler) EVGA GTX 570 HD 2.5GB (More RAM, about £40 more, not TFiii cooler) MSI 6970 MSI Twin Frozr iii Lightning (About £60 more than MSI 570, has cooler, more Ram) Help my fickle brain please. Thanks
Sorry, stupid of me not to mention that. 1920x1200 But remember I'm looking toward the future here too.
1920x1200 will be fine with 1.3GB of RAM - it's only when you're up to 2560x1600/1440 that you really need to find the higher VRAM cards. Ergo, get the Twin Frozr III.
Twin Frozr III is pretty mint from what I've read about it. At your resolution waay better to have Twin Frozr than 2.5gb ram imo
Does the Evga come with the standard Nvidia vapor chamber design, aren't they supposed to be really good anyway?
