    i voted corsair not only for the performance and silence but just for the looks!
    i love that psu!

    I voted for the Corsair, but if you need cheaper, Hiper 580's are good.

    Sorry, but the PSU that this is replacing is a Hiper 580W. Its not doing what it should, and is being punished by being flogged on Ebay :eeek: :eeek: :naughty: :idea:

    Seasonic S12: Again, bought one for my last PC build, and well... amazed, near silent (inaudible over the rest of my system), cool running and no problems.

    Only downside is the bunch of cables craftily hidden at the top of my case behind the cd-drive.

    The corsair *is* a seasonic S12 Energy+, except cheaper and modular

    Actually it's not. The S12 E+ is Related to the Corsair HX, but it's not the same.

    Go with whichever.

    Right, now comes time for another choice.

    This time I've got £80 or so, and I'm ater over 500W with modular ect. and I've basically come up with a few choices,

    Corsair 520W

    Zalman 600W

    Tagan 530W
