Howdy Folks, Need some recommendations for decent touchscreens, preferably from people that have them and use them often, the Dell monitor used at the moment I think is restive touch screen and its a bit unreliable at recognizing touch. The monitor is going to be used on a factory floor for employees to clock in & out and also to log onto jobs. Any help would be much appreciated
These days resistive touch screens really need a plastic pen attached to them, most people are too used to capacitive screens and don't press hard enough.
Don't know how much help this is, but the Dr's surgeries I work at both use iiyama touchscreens for self check-in purposes. They're used 5 days a week and don't generate a large number of complaints from patients.
Definitely don't get a Viewsonic. Aftercare - i.e. whoever VS contracts to - in the UK is Turd with a capital T. Regretful owner of a couple of TD's.
iiyama screens are the ones I"m looking at, one of our machines has a pretty good touch screen in but they wont tell me what it is which is a pain. will give this one a go https://www.amazon.co.uk/iiyama-Pro...464117963&sr=8-12&keywords=iiyama+touchscreen
