As title says, I'm after a download manager, don't mind paying for one either, so just gimme a few names, and I can look further into them, they make things much easier, but since my friends rapidshare ran out, I can use rapidshare and their download manager anymore for large files swaps and stuff...

    Greatly appreciated, thanks good people!

I have a feeling we mean different things by "download manager", but I swear by FlashGet.

I'll look at that, but what I mean is something I can copy and paste multiple direct links to download files, and it will download all... right now im stuck copy and pasting each individual link into a new tab then clicking accept... I want a download manager where I paste multiple links, then I click download / save to for every individual one... If anyone has used the rapidshare downloader, they know what I'm relatively looking for.

Well, with FlashGet you can "Download All with FlashGet", which presents you with a list of checkboxes for every downloadable item on a page. Or you can also do batch downloads, where you supply a link with wild cards.

    I use Free Download Manager

It can import a list of downloads from a .txt file and also from clipboard.
You can give it your login name/password of you rapidshare premium account
to get all of the premium features.

I use DownThemAll, a free Firefox Extension, works excellently. Also, get Linkification, another addon, which automatically blue-types (turns into a link) any text that may not be formatted as a link, but is still URL text.

And if you're not using Firefox, why not?!

DownloadThemAll is good, theres also another firefox one calle DownloadHelper. DownloadAccelerator from Speedbit is really good, and free. Allows you to continue downloads from where you left off (incase of net loss, internet gaming, etc) and can be integrated into IE7 or Firefox.
