i know what half of you are going to say- :search:
but i did! here, at molex, at mouser, everywhere!!! i even found the part i need on jameco's site, but their part number didn't match anything at molex...

anyways, i need to know the part number for the male r/a (or vertical) floppy disk drive power connector. i think the pitch would be .1" or something very close to that. anyone know it?

The ATX spec is an AMP connector, not Molex, which might explain your problem.

The female end (on the psu side) is AMP 171822-4, may get you started. It's a 2.5mm pitch.

See http://www.dpninc.com/pdf/man6639d.pdf , section 4.1.2. It is a great manual with more info about floppies than you will ever need. I wish all manufacturers were that thorough.

(If that link ever goes dead google for "YD-702D-6639D" )

That'll give me reason to further detail that list. Add pictures, and other retailers part numbers.
