Hey guys, I'm looking for a decent cheap LCD screen, preferably 22-23" that will be used for gaming on, along with internet stuff and some movies. Budget ideally less than £150 Three I've looked at and are interested in are Samsung S24A350H http://www.pcmonitors.org/shop/monitor-of-the-month/samsung-s24a350h-–-monitor-of-the-month LG ISP231-BN http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=209268 or the LG IPS236V-PN The Samsung is TN panel and the two LG's are LED IPS. Anyone had experience with these and can recommend the best or the money. Thanks.
LG IPS231P-BN obviously. If you can afford it, just the fact that it's not glossy and has an adjustable stand, should be no brainier.
Its what i have, came from a laptop to pc and haven't looked.back, great monitor!! Sent from Bittech Android app
Thinking of upgrading to the LG IPS231P-BN myself after countless threads on here i hear nothing but good things about saved me alittle headache. It does'nt look the nicest tbh but its not always about that, only thing that concerns me is the lack of HDMI. If Both the monitor and GFX have hdmi out/inputs would HDMI be better than DVI?
No. Use DVI, or DisplayPort, ignore HDMI unless outputting to a TV. HDMI basically is DVI but with audio. But I think DVI ensure colour accuracy whereas HDMI does not, GoodBytes will correct this if I'm wrong
