What cases are you using for these two rigs?

the i5-750 is in an Xclio blackhawk. decent case, but poor stock fans.

the 2500k is in a raidmax skyline. horrible, awful thing. planning on migrating it to a sentey case soon, as their higher end stuff looks promising for the price.

    I have returned!

Got the H70 yesterday and a Vertex 3 as well.

Installed HSF.. kind of okay. Screw didn't go in properly and spent a while trying to get it back out. CPU temps were 80c with mild load so...

After I got it tightened properly, I ram Prime 95 for a while at 4.4ghz (AI automatic overclock thing) and I was only getting 50-60c which is fine for me (though sides are off).

    THE TROUBLE IS!

Getting loads of no POST problems.
Sound card goes in = no post..
Reseated that and that's okay now.

More annoyingly, I can't use my ram in blue/blue socket like it recommends and it was working fine before I rebuilt my PC.

    Black/black = No post.
Seems anything in DIMM3/4 will make it not post so I can run it in 1/2 right now but I think that means there's no dual channel.

Reset CMOS multiple times and tried the DRAM button on mobo but no difference.

Any ideas or have I broken something?

I am using the H70 on an i7-2600k at 4.8Ghz @ 1.375v on an ASUS P8P67. In terms of push/pull recommendations,
I like the Noiseblocker NB-Multiframe M12-P - PWM in push/pull available from AquaTuning (free delivery with forum contributions!) admittedly a delux, but are great noise quality even at high speed. Plus a PWM fan splitter to get both fans spinning identically, and some fan shrouds comprised of old 120mm fans hollowed out to space-off NBs 25mm off the rad.

    hope this helps,

    Sworks
