Development need easy pvr software

    looking for a live cd based software



    pvr software on a live cd
    any ideas im shure its a good idea i did google only one result remotly close



    im shure its a small task for a linux guru im not quite there yet

    you can download a full live ISO for PVR's here . havent tried it yet because i dont have a computer with linux YET. Heard that this mythtv is really good especially if you are going to run it off of those mini-itx epia motherboards. but pretty much anything down to about 400MHZ will work pretty well

    Try Knoppmyth, it's a copy of the Knoppix LiveCD, with MythTV already compiled into it. I'm not sure if you can just run it
    on the CD, though. I think it has to be installed to your HDD.

    There is a warning, however. If you use the automatic installer on the CD, it
    completely wipes your primary HDD, and the manual installer doesn't work at all.

    oh well i think il just wait for somebody to come up with a good version of it

    it is a good idea im shure some ones working on a good version
