I want to mount a LK204-25PC externally, but I don't know how. I want sometihng new. I had an idea once, but it was too expensive and I don't like the idea anymore (the lcd mounted in the inside of a juwelbox that looked like a flightcase, but it was £18 and I don't want to spend so much money on that alone). I want to have lots of space for switches and LED's, good visibility and it has to be the style of the Lian Li PC71 (it's the 70 but in black, I like black more than silver, more original I think )
you can get some nice enclosers at maplin, i know they have metal ones but don't know which metal it is, you could always rub it down with some fine wet & dry to give the 'brushed metal' look.
I used the cutout from my pc70 window to make an aluminium L shaped one, I like it anyway ..... pics to come soon ....
This was very cheap since it was made from bits I had lying around. But obviously you have already seen it so I would suggest you just hunt around and see what you have stuffed in a drawer or cupboard http://www.bit-tech.net/article/43/
ofcourse I've seen it! but in my opinion mods must make your case original (your opinion also as I have read somewhere) so I don't want to just fake you
I didn't mean copy it, I meant just see what you have lying around that you can convert into an original housing.
mmmmmmm idd nice, I have lots of LEGO laying around here from my childhood.... mmm, you know I was the fifth best LEGO technic builder of Belgium? yeah, those were the days alright, I was the youngest contestant, and I came 5th! yeah
relix how about something like this all the wires go up the arms and your LCD hangs in the midle. or would the disply fit into a cdrom tray, remove the tray and replace with the LDC mount this verticaly and have a slid out LCD. how about slealting it and making a devcie that opens to show the LCD
