I'm building my first self-made gaming rig and want some feedback from the community to see how well my setup works together, weak links, "too strong" links (if there are any), and the overall quality of the parts I chose. Here's my setup: Processor: Intel i5-3570k Graphics Card: Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7850 Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 64mb cache RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series CX600 Case: Zalman Z11 ATX Mid Tower Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus Solid State Drive: Mushkin Chronos 120GB Any feedback and suggestions are GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!
Looks like a very decent build to me If you're planning on overclocking I'd have gone for a better cooler though as Ivy Bridge can get scorchingly hot.
Looks good. I don't know too much about SSD except the top brands are normally more highly recommended, I personally haven't heard of your brand so can't comment but: http://www.dabs.com/products/kingst...aign=email280612-kingstonSSD&utm_content=i700 looks very good value for money.
