No big reason to why I am getting both PC and 360. But Since I got money to Burn, I wanted to get Both. On my PC Side I have the Power of Intel QX9770 3.2GHz and For Graphic Card, I have the nVidia 8800GT 512MB. I just wanted to compare the Visual Effects between PC and 360.

I hated Carbon, racing only in the dark got old really fast. The bugginess on PS2 also annoyed me.. If I went over an hour without saving, I would end up losing all of my progress. Also, the difficulty of races kinda sucked. For the first 3/4 of the game, your opponents cars would be a little worse than yours, and the bosses had slightly better cars. In the final quarter, I had three Lamborghini Gallardos against my Lancer Evo, in nearly every race. I never did finish that game. :(

If this game can combine the pros of PGR4, TDU and Burnout: Paradise, then I would get it, but fat chance. The only thing I enjoyed in Carbon was the challenge section. "Destroy 50 police cars in such and such time limit" or "Escape from the cops in this car with no working wheels"... These were fun.

100% absolutely agree. i love pure sims too, but GRiD is THE best mix and blend of hardcore racing and pick-up-a-bility that an arcade racer oozes. absolutely love it (two aliases: DEATHSQUAD-graig and graigchq)

I'd bone Maggie Q. And that Lexus.

I've been playing Need for Speed since the first week of their first Road & Track partnership release; I had just started school for the first time of my life and was already spending all day playing and mastering a racing game. If they move off of the nanny driving aids and high-friction physics, I will take back my abandonment of the franchise, which was right after their best one, yet: Porsche Unleashed.

I'm in agreement with the few others up near the top. Porsche: Unleashed/2000 was the peak of the series. The first disappointment for me was when they decided to change Motorcity from a NFS title into an MMO and then sent it to it's death. Then the whole Underground thing started up and they haven't got away from it. Yeah, I want to still have cops chasing me down (just like in the original) but I want to be able to properly tune up my car as well, a la Porsche. I want to change tire pressure, change the differential... and have damage not just be some cosmetic thing. I don't like the tri-level upgrade system, it's just simplifying things down to the level of Top Gear a la SNES. Perhaps the secondary NFS team will go back to it's true peak; guess we'll find out in ~12 months.

You need to get on a plane, and fly to somewhere you have never been. Do not make any plans, take hand luggage only. When you get off the plane, head for the main touristy type area and take a seat in a trendy cafe. Ask a cute waitress where a cool place to stay would be and where the most popular bars are. Just GTFO of the internet and live a little.

thank f*** they learnt from ProStreet...probably the single worst game I've played in years, was it just a scam to make us love undercover more?

Undercover will hopefully be more like Underground2, they never quite did it as well an NFSU2 ever again

take the present as a gift.

The best race game still is Richard Burns Rally. Although it is getting old, It is the most realistically build racing simulator ever. I do not know why Dirt is on everybody's top spot for realism, never seen a car stop from 120km to a dead stop in 7 meters on sand, did you?

Need for speed (the first one) is still my favorite of the series. But thats more nostalgia together with a 3DFX Voodoo card. That was awesome!

    @ Gunsmith,

Whoa there mate! I only said, I didn't like the Whole, "Street car racing'" Experience.

I think you meant to quote wuyanxu.
