Ok everyone, I was hoping for some input in choosing between these two monitors:

Monior #1: CHIMEI 22”, $260, HDMI, no DVI, lots of extras, better stand.

Monitor #2: Hanns-G 21.5”, $220, HDMI, DVI, no real extras, worse stand.

I know both are off brands, but the Hanns-G has great product reviews, and Chi Mei has another monitor that is a 2x winner of Newegg rewards (5stars- over 600 reviews)

    Some background info:
Im in college and use (and only have up at school) a laptop with a 15inch screen, that plus the high resolution of the screen (1680x1050) causes eye strain when reading/typing for long bursts of time. My laptop uses HDMI so I would like to take advantage of it, and my price range is around the mid-200’s.

Both monitors fall into those qualifications, but if anyone else knows of one, feel free to say so.

    Thanks for your time,
    -Daren

FYI you don't need to limit yourself to monitors that have hdmi, as hdmi and dvi are electrically identical. Just make sure it has hdcp.
