Hi folks, I just got my gainward TI4200. Im running win 2k and trying to stretch the desktop between 2 monitors (one from the VGA out and the other from DVI-VGA converter). The problem is it deesnt see the second monitor.

It clones the second monitor from startup but it is not listed in any of the NVIEW or Ultramon settings.

Should the device manager in windows show 2 monitors? Because it doesn't.

Also some of my icons in my taskbar have gone all hairy, not sure if this has anything to do with it.

I have updated the drivers but still nothing.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Pete.:sigh:

uninstall the drivers, then you will need to re-install while both monitors are on. That's the important part.

Cheers allready tried that a few times, didnt work though.

I dont think my comp is recognising both monitors, no mater what I try I can only get it see one monitor in the device manager.

    Anyother ideas?

    Thanks!

    Pete.
