Has anyone used the DVDSmith Movie Backup program? I've been using this free program for over a year, and never have a problem to backup dvd movies. But, recently it crashes every time i try to back up Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen to hard drive. My OS is Windows 7, 64-bit. any help or suggestion will be highly appreciated.
Use DVDFab decrypter to rip the movie to hard disk. Then use DVD Shrink to cut out anything you don't want or make it fit on a DVD-5 etc. DVDFab decrypter is free (though they have many more products that aren't) and updated regularly to counteract the copy protection used in modern discs. It does Blu-Ray discs too by the way
