Graphics Need Help with 9800 pro electronics...

    Ok. My modded 9800 pro 128 just fell 4 feet to the ground, my heart stopped....

    I thought it was it full sure that there would be a crack on the pcb but luckily there wasnt. The pcb did bend quite a bit but not too much. Upon further inspection it seems that 3 of the capacitors got ripped off by the ramsinks. 1 was slightly hanging off and the other 2 were mia.
    After much shouting and venting my anger i searched and found all the parts.

    Thing is theres a positive sign on the pcb and i don,t know which way they go back on there are no markings on the caps that i can see, i can solder so i got nothing to loose by tryin. i have a pic with the caps marked out on it if anyone can help it'd be much appriciated

    note that he said 'modded' - that probably means that the board is volt modded... the mfgr will not take it back on RMA after volt modding, as it voids the warranty.

    How can they test if you've modded it or not?

    because it's got solder/wires all over it!
