A friend of mine suggested posting on this forum as someone may be able to help me here so thank you in advance if you can.

I will just copy what i posted on a gaming forum.....

Need some help.....Im having trouble with my webcam, its a 3com homeconnect one. Now they have since gone bust apparently and i cant find no drivers for it anywhere.Apparently It only works with 95-2000 o/s but i had it working with xp but Pc messed up ages and ages ago now so i had to format. I then got myself a bootable xp pro sp2 disk and loaded that. I went to install my cam and all the softward gets installed but it keeps saying 'Can Not find camera plugged in to USB device' which is daft as it is plugged in. Ive installed my motherboard drivers and everything else works in the USB slots except this sod of a thing. Ive looked for drivers on google and cant find none as it all says that the current drivers that come with it works with xp.

    Things ive tryed

Right clicked .exe and gone to compatibility and saying camera can not be detected
    and tryed these both drivers
