Electronics Need help with an graphic LCD!

Have you tried LCDInfo ?

 

No i havent tried that prog do i need to install any other software besides LCD info to get my LCD run under WinXP Pro???

You need to install the DLPortIO drivers if you don't already have these installed. Also you may need the vcl50.bpl runtime library if you don't have it. You can find these from the LCDInfo download page under the Files needed part.

 

Hey!!

I tried the LCD on my old PC and it works. The prog LCD info is great. Now i have a other problem. I think that my LPT port on my MOBO of my main machine isnt working. Is there a way to test the LPT port??? I had problems with it before my printer didnt work and now my LCD isnt working. Should i RMA the MOBO??

when your pc starts up it says hit f1 to enter setup or hit del or ins or f10 or any other key the bios contains all the pc settings so you can really screw up yer pc from here. go to peripheral setup or something like that and try changing yer parallel port settings

if u dont know what the bios is however it may be better to get a freind to do it

if that dosent work take it back to the person you got it off

 

Oh i know a bit about BIOS. I will try to change the settings.
