Need help with infrared and remote

    Can any one remember the 24x creative CD-ROM with the infrared remote?

    Well the drive broke so that went in the bin, and now I’m left with the remote and I have IRDA on my laptop.
    Does any one know how to get the remote to work with the IRDA to control PC applications like winamp.

    I remember them. Unfortunately you can't use a emote with standard IrDa :( But i would be very very willing to take the remote of your hands to use with my MP3 Box project
