I feel like an idiot having to ask this but I've been stuck on a bit in CoD2 for a couple days now and am getting really REALLY frustrated of playing the same 3 seconds of the game over and over. It's one of the british missions where you steal an armoured vehicle and ride in the turret. The part that's getting me is a point where you round the corner of a building and there is a tank there and two guys up on the roof on the right with anti-tank weapons and two more guys on the ground to the left with anti-tank weapons. Every time I die the board restarts just before clearing the corner. Most of the time one of the guys on the roof fires immediately and kills me before I can get more than a shot or two off. Sometimes I'm fortunate enough to pluck off the guy on the first shot and if the second guy on the roof doesn't fire right away then I get a second or two to take a couple shots at the guys on the ground and start firing at the tank. The second the guy in my vehicle says to fire on the tank, the tank fires and kills me. A very few times I managed to pluck off all four guys and start firing on the tank and would have enough time to get enough rounds in before it fires back but then a fifth guy shows up on the roof and kills me. Is there a certain method to this part of the level that I'm missing?? One thing I thought is throwing out some smoke to slow them down but I'm dead before the smoke bombs can get a chance to vent... so that's not the answer. I've tried thrown out some grenades to distract them to buy an extra second or two, which works for the guys on the ground but I can't throw far enough to get on onto the roof to distract those guys. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Ryan
Oooo that part is a real *******, took me a while to do in hardest difficulty. Basically you've just got to remember where each guy is, focus on killing the pansershreck guys. Can't really remember exactly how I did it though, sorry : /
Bummer, I was hoping there was something I could do like shooting a particular spot so the building falls down or something... I guess not. I'll just have to keep plugging away at it. Thanks for the response, Ryan
No, it is a pain, but try playing it on the 360, its even harder, as a controller is slower than a mouse. Yea, basicly, try and remember were those to guys are and keep shooting, you will get through, and then die further round, and you will have to do it again and again, same old story with COD2 Good luck Sam
I remember that bit, took me ages to do. I can remember it being a bit easier using a rifle rather than the turret; it is a case of being lucky as one of them is bound to fire at you first. Good Luck!
playing that bit on veteran was a bitch there is a certain amount of skill and a certaion amount of luck. First, take out the guy on the roof to the right, shoot at the tanks fuel barrel at every spare opportunity, a guy appears from the right, take him out, and i tjhink a guy then appears to the back take him out, and prepare for 2 more panzerschreks around the corner
I had the worst time with that part, next to the part where your getting mortared in an inconvient place. If I remember theres a guy up high that you have to take out instantly or your dead.
HA! got it finally! I used to laugh at those videos you see when gamers lose their minds and go nuts.... not so much now.
