I have a hard plastic briefcase that I want to turn into a (007 spy) pc. I have the case and some old computers that I can rob parts from. Today my boss let me have an old laptop with a kick @ss (15" I think) LCD and I want to put it in the case so when you open the case you have the screen and it's all operational. (spelling) I'm not the best at taking a laptop LCD and soldering it to a normal PC MB so I guess I'm looking for advice.
Is there enough room in the briefcase to put in the laptop and the other computer? Then you can leave the laptop intact and use it only as "monitor". Link it to the other computer through Windows XP remote desktop.
see goat you go and ruin my short answer, Yes its technically feasible but its prohibitively expensive and hard to a point where alternatives are cheaper and more reliable hence; its not possible (by the above stated reasons)
Well it was a thought. Thanks for your input. As for the search engine, I tried it and didn't find ONE thing that could answer my question. So I did try it first before I came to you. I thought this forum was for help, not for getting bashed on everytime you want to find something out. thanks again.
umm... there is a LCD (inc LapTop screen modding) FAQ on this site. that should answer all your quesitons... an good search would be "laptop lcd"
