hi I am new to the forums but I have been reading and lurking around here for about a year now. last night I built a gaming computer with the following hardware: ASUS crosshair V AMD phenom 2 thermaltake toughpower 775w psu Geforce GTX 560 Ti by PNY 8GB of DDR3 Kingston genisis memory 250gb hdd LG optical Obsidian 650D When I went to first power it on everything came to life like it should. However, I got nothing on the screen. No BIOS when holding down delete or anything. I hit the GO button on the motherboard and after a while the red led stayed lit on the ram light. The manual says that when the lights stays lit that there is something wrong with that part of my hardware. However, I wanted to see if anyone here could suggest anything else that I should look at before I send back the ram? I rechecked all the power connections and the cables....and after that I dont know what to look for.... Thanks for any help!
