So I've been out of the loop for so long now I have no idea what I'm doing.

Here's what I want, I have a 5770 powering two screens, I would like to add a third.

If I want to run just three screens can I do this with the 1 5770.

My 5770 has 2x DVI [In Use], 1x HDMI and 1x (I assume) Display Port.

With that out of the way, if, in future I wanted to a fourth I'm assuming I'll need to chuck another 5770 into my system.

    Thanks :thumb:

With the 5770, two monitors at once is the max. You'd have to get another card to go along side it to connect more.

Edit: I'm sure the thread title changed as I was replying... :eyebrow:

Thanks Fantus, So if I just chuck another 5770 in i'll be fine, I assume I can crossfire them too?

BTW where in Ipswich do you live?

If your board supports crossfire and you've got the power connections from the psu, chuck it in and install the latest driver.

I live in central Ipswich, next to Christchurch Park.

For non-gaming any GPU will do, for multi-screen gaming you are right, you will need a 2nd HD5770

    P.S. I had four cards (2 x HD5870 + 2 x GTX 460 ) in my BOINC rig.

Is it not like my 5870, as I can run 3 screens off it when I'm not gaming, 1 DVI, 1 HDMI and 1 DP...

The 5770 supports 3 monitors in eyefinity with just one card

For the price of another 5770, I'd sell your current 5770 and buy a newer, single card that does 3 monitors. I wouldn't want to **** about with older CrossFire AND Eyefinity. It's a recipe for headaches.
