Edit: i know everyone is sour about the psone lcd threads, i've read them all though trust me, so please help Everyone has the idea now of the psone lcd computer case mod thanks to the various people and sites, but there is no definitive guide... How are people putting them in their computer cases, wouldnt the metal short the pcb board, if so do you make a case and then put that case in your pc case?? Again there is no guide, not even the "bit-tech article" because that is just a look i used the idea and did it without any inside case shots, or all done case shots. Can someone post their pics of the finished result outside and prefferebly inside the case?? And to ask the question i did a while back, would the circuitry of the pcb board be affected by the metal of the case?? Help a brotha out.... btw no soldering info or vga info is needed for this, thats a whole diff topic/thread. JaceAce32 dont be afraid of pm'ing me if needed
Oi vey, mobius you definitely didnt read what i wrote... no need for flaming though... getting back to the response, i read the bit-tech article and no i dont want to imagine because i dont have a lian li, and even if i did imagine, that picuture shot would be of no help...
i would like to add right here > no **** i know what modding is... What i am asking you damn flamer is "Would the board short circuit if it touched the metal of the case?" "Has anybody had that happan to them?" If yes then "how did they go around that?" So sherlock next time read the thread, and by read i mean next time read the thread, plain an simple. Man there's always the few that are sour and need to let the world know.
Wow not a very nice attitude for someone asking for help . Anyways I have my mounted with four threaded rods that go through the wholes in the pcb that match up with the metal lcd frame holes. haven't caused a problem so far. If you're worried about short circuiting something then just use some rubber mat that you can pick up at a hardware store.
lol, sorry for being sour but thanks for that info, the thing is that a few good hours, alot of hours, on various forums you finally start despising flamers, 40% percent of a good i can safely say 9,000 posts i've read are from people who dont know what the topic is about and have too much time on their hands you know... but again thanks for sure
actually its either a bump or $60 down the drain and a short circuited coaster.. dont want to make anyone madd with this thread...
