I've programmed a patch against the SoBig worm, and in theory it should work, but I can't be sure if it works unless I can actually test it. So does anyone has a mail with a sobigworm somewhere? It'd be very much appreciated
what u need is a virus to stop your pc working for a month, i think u would have withdrawal symptoms tho which isnt good....
lol i havent gotten sobig yet. i keep getting some e-mail with a "patch" saying i better use the "patch" to fix a security problem with my computer. lol some people try to hard.
well if you really want it email me at brian@faronics.com but i can tell you now theres no use because our company has had a program that blocks all viruses for a few years now its called deepfreeze www.faronics.com what it does is let you save to a "thawspace" which is a virtual drive, and you can deltree the whole windows dir, format the drive, or even change settings around and when you reboot everythings back to normal how do you install software you want to stay on you ask? you reboot "thawed" by entering a password and u can make changes and stuff (no im not trying to sell the program to you guys) its not my job to sell schools buy it tho anyways im tech support so yea brian@faronics.com if you want sobig
my school has the same thing. its called HDD Sherif. it pisses me off because they never told us about it and we where loosing our programs untill a month later they told us to save to a floppy. but i dont know how to save a 10mb thing to a 1.44mb floppy. nothing ever got done in the class. but it was fun to royaly **** up windows and then reboot to a fixed computer.
