A while back when we were cleaning out our loft I came across these two old camera's. I'm trying to find out when they were made and what type they are. If anyone has any idea or knows a site or something where I can find some info it would be much appretiated. I found some info on the maker of this one (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollei) but I don't know which model or year it is. This one I know almost nothing about. It has the name "Foka" on the case. My dad thinks that it could have been his dads. He thinks it may have been bought in Italy during WWII.
That rolleiflex looks like it's in pretty good order, whats the aperture on the lens? can't quite make it out but it looks like one of the 3.5 series. If you have the leather case you'd be looking at about £100 in a private sale as they're still quite sought after, without the case you'd probably be looking at £80ish to a collector. Not too sure on the foka labelled camera but i've come across quite a few models that look the same, branded as kodak etc, i'm quite impressed that the bellows haven't fallen apart as the rest of the camera looks very rusty. The film for that style of camera is pretty much obsolete so wouldn't be worth much, would make a nice display piece though if you fancy a bit of DIY restoration.
Thanks for the info, I'll dig out the Rolleiflex tomorrow if I get chance and check the aperture and snap a few more pictures
lol, it can't be a good sign when you google Foka Camera the top link is this thread >_< Maybe Foka is somehow associated with Kodak since a number of people have reported similar Kodak camera's
