I'm thinking of a UV tube mod. Having never used one. Some questions on what outcome I can expect.

I've seen UV nail varnish etc being used to highligh edges, but will any white surface glow? like a white t-shirt does in clubs?

Them UV pens used to mark cash and valuables, anyone used one to highligh edges? any good results?

Finally how long does a)The bulb itself & b)The UV painted surfaces last?

    cheers in advance,

any uv pen etc will work, but unfotunatly, white doesnt reflect uv, its the phosphers in your washing powder that make your shirts glow in night clubs, not the shirt itself!!!

I bought some of that Conformal Spray that Macroman is always talking bout, got it at a local electronics store. I think he said Maplins carries it. Its for spraying pcb's. Make sure it says its UV reactive on the can. The stuff i got was like $15 and it glows blow under a black light. If you look at his guide on painting fans, you will see its effect at the bottom. I did some spiral wrap with foir a test and it glows really nicely.

Or you could use UV reflective tape, as seen in this article @
