I've just bricked my Yoggie Open Firewall SOHO device after recompiling the kernel with 802.1d ethernet bridging support (I wanted to turn it into a transparent bridging firewall). I'm thinking about buying a JTAG machine to try and unbrick it but, before I do, I wanted to know if anyone knows of a really small form factor x86 mobo that could do the same job.

I've looked at the Soekris boards but most of them have >2 RJ45 ethernet ports and I only want one with 2 ports. The pico-ITX boards only have 1 ethernet so they're no good for me. The only other one I know is Gumstix but it doesn't look like they have dual ethernet either (and it's not x86).

Does anyone know of a small, dual ethernet board they're using or their employer is using?

I used to use a Via EPIA-CL10000 board, now obsolete though.

    http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/mainboards/

It was Mini-ITX, 1ghz Via CPU and dual 100mb NICs. Takes one stick of RAM, plug in a hard drive, all done.

Very stable and excellent linux driver support, so you may wanna check out their products and consider one for yourself?
