well i wanna do a little pcb for a modding project for my xbxo crap. and i was wonding if there is a cheap way i can make like 50-100 of them. mostly it is a 4017 IC, 555 timer, 8 transistors, a potometer, and some wires comming off it. all i really need is the pcb made and drilled. no silkscreen, i am looking to sell them for about $15-20 each

so the basic question is if any of u guys know a good place to get my PCB's made??

there's a guy on ebay who does it. he prefers that you already have the gerber files prepared, but he doesn't absolutely require it.
actually, i just checked and it seems he may not be doing it anymore....

he was offering it for a good price, at least i thought so. and he seemed to be a very reasonable guy. i never used his service, but i spoke with him briefly thru email a few times.
maybe he will relist.... im not sure.

    Do you have a design?

    How big are the boards?

    How many holes?

    You can make them yourself.

    Use :search:

It's also worth asking www.olimex.com/pcb if they could do it. Their prototyping service is quite cheap, and they do free panelising and cutting.

However, they are more expensive and take longer (typical turnaround time for me has been about 2 weeks) but you do get proper etched boards, plated holes on double sided boards, a soldermask and printed legend.

If you are using small components with fine pitched pins, then a soldermask is a godsend - and a printed legend is helpful for all but the simplest designs.

I found their "Miniboard" service unbeatable http://www.expresspcb.com. They are firm about the 2.5" x 3.8" size. If you have freedom to adjust the board layout make it so two 2.5" x 1.9" boards fit on one Miniboard and separate the two sections with a row of holes as perforation.

Glad to hear that. I just ordered from them yesterday. Crossing my fingers that everything works as planned. Though it was quite cramped. I've got about 180 pins to solder on each board.
