Right, I've got a few things I'd like to discuss with you.

Firstly, a 7200rpm hdd in an iBook, do you think it'd generate too much heat?

Secondly, I need to find a program to sync my iBook with my PowerMac. I cant see any way of doing it with iSync as of yet. Basically what I want to do, is sync my documents folder, so whichevers newest will get copied to the iBook or PowerMac depending on which one has the out-dated copy.

So, how would I get set about doing that?

    Your thoughts please :)

Have you read the article on Bit about replacing the 4200 drive in Wil Harris' PB for a 5400? He basically said it was a good deal faster, but at the sacrifice of heat and a good deal of battery life. I probably wouldn't go as far as 7200 rpm, maybe 5400. The 5400 in my PB at the moment is just fine :)

Yah tomm, I did read that article :) Hopefully I wont destroy my optical drive slit in the process!

I'll look into some benchmarks between 4200rpm drives and 5400rpm drives :)
