    Trick is not to spend all your inital cash on the crappy planets you start on but to wait a few days till you reach more fertile lands.

    but by the time u reached more fertile lands ur only beginning to produce ships, whereas if u start investing on early, u'll have enough ships to greet your neighbour that has more fertile lands in a few days :D

    so where do u draw the line? :p

    same goes to economy, but given the initial $500 we get at the beginning, its abit of a moot point.

    I agree with you there, I miss watching TNG on BBC2 while eating dinner when I was younger :sigh:

    I feel there will be a minor scuffle sometime soon though, the gaps between players are getting ever smaller...

    There will be fireworks, but it was inevitable. I wouldn't like to be xtrafresh in a weeks time. I can only imagine the stress he'd be dealing with trying to keep his borders.

    You haven't seen me in game 2, have you? I have basically been at continuous war with two bigger players at either side, and they both ended up dead :p

    But yeah, i have 4 players on my doorstep, two of which appear to be former game winners. Yay me!
