    Hello,

Apologies for the potentially daft question....

I have installed windows 7 with no problems, however for my graphic card ATI Radeon 4800 is it correct that i install the net framework 3.5 first and then the driver? if so is there a particular framework for windows 7?

    Thanks

The .Net framework is the same across all the variation of the Window OS; think of it as Direct X for applications.

Windows 7 should come with .NET Framework 3.5 already installed.

The driver itself doesn't need the framework IIRC, only Catalyst Control Centre.

    Not quite.

It's a set of runtimes required for apps written in C#, not needed for all apps.

Not just C#, Direct X isn't required for all games...

I was trying to make a simple comparison; how ever you are correct that Windows 7 should come with the most up to date .Net Framework which is of course 3.5.
