Currently on NTL, connected through a NIC, i know they've been having a few problems these last days, but every so often it will display a message over the internet status icon and say, "Network Cable Unplugged" and will just stop the internet and only way to sort it is to reboot. Tried disablind and enabling. Just wondering could this be down to NTL or would it be most associated with my pc ? Cheers
Would either be your PC or the Modem, don't see why the PC would do it so that only leaves the modem. Or check that your network cable isn't damaged.
hmm, yeah, i'll try another cable later on see if that sorts it, never happened before, just randomly did it, if that fails, i'll give ntl a call and see if they can tell me if the modem is dodgy
