    Hiya

Mother has a laptop which she wants to use at home and at work - i was going to set her up just another browser so this would work, however the network adaptor has specific IP addresses set. So i was wonderin g if there was a way to create another profile for the card without specified IP Addresses - obviously only one profile could work at any one time! but i wonder if it can be done!

    Thanks!

Public IP Or Private One way if it was private it is to change the config of the home router to that private IP set. It is possible in XP to bind 2 IPs to a network adapter. It may or may not work never need to try but both need to be static in the properties of the network adpter go to TCP/ip propeties then go to advanced and in that window there is a place to add adddress. It may be a pro only thing but i don't know for a fact
